SETTING

The landscape remains changeless and magnificent in Liebana, area located in the south-east of Cantabria (Spain). La Montaña has an enviable setting in FRAMA, approximately 2 km from POTES and located in the very centre of the area. This exceptional setting is one of the most beautiful and rural places in the Cantabrian Mountains, and you will enjoy being here. The isolation suffered by this area, due to the fact that it has a very difficult access, has helped to the conservation of CABEZON DE LIEBANA, CAMALEÑO and CERECEDA, which nearly remain in their original way, with very little changes. From the river Deva, going through Santo Toribio, showing at the eastern massif of PICOS DE EUROPA, it only takes around half an hour to get to the beach.
